Short answer: your property tax bill is not one number from one rate. It's the sum of several separate taxing units — county, city, school district (ISD), and sometimes special districts like MUDs, ESDs, or hospital districts — each multiplying your taxable value by its own rate per $100 of value. We never show a single blended "county rate" as your estimate; pick your actual taxing units below for a real number.

Frequently asked.
Is there one property tax rate for my county?
No. Your bill combines separate rates from your county, city (if any), school district, and any special districts covering your address — these can differ by thousands of dollars within the same county.
How much is the Texas homestead exemption in 2025?
For school district taxes, $140,000 for most homeowners, and $200,000 total for homeowners 65+ or disabled, following Propositions 11 and 13 (November 2025). County, city, and special-district exemptions are set locally and not assumed here.
Does protesting my value actually save money?
Only if the Appraisal Review Board lowers your value. The protest savings tool shows the dollar difference between your noticed value and a target value, by taxing unit.
